After winning a major ad agency account for Graphic Venue as a consultant, developed and launched the Creative Services Department for this boutique Design, Marketing, Printing and Pre-Media shop.

Consulted to develop and launch Venu Interactive, a 2-way interactive advertising and marketing venture. High-resolution retouching, color correction, finishing on numerous major print ad campaigns. Complex Photoshop compositing & photo illustration, in addition to pre-press, trapping, and proofing.
Specialized skills including Flash, AS3, Pageflex web-to-print solutions and Joomla! CMS were integral to expanding the company’s core services beyond traditional design, creative retouching and pre-press.

Applied a wide variety of skills, assumed a wide range of responsibilities, and served as the primary contact with corporate clients at the highest level.

Managed an 8-retoucher, two-shift studio. Initially hired as senior retoucher, color, pre-press & on-press expert, this position developed to include web design, creative direction and ultimately consultation with partners on expanding the company’s abilities and direction to include new media, illustration, sound engineering, copy writing, editing and animation. Clients included Sony Records, L’Oréal, Borghese, Universal Entertainment Group, AMC, Women’s Entertainment, and many others.
